Jill M. Ririe
Biography
Ms. Ririe is an organizational development consultant and leadership coach with strong functional expertise in the areas of leadership assessment and development, career and succession management, enhancing team effectiveness, small group meeting facilitation, instructional design and delivery and executive coaching. She has spent more than 30 years serving the public, private and non-profit sectors helping organizations maximize performance by making better bosses, stronger teams, and higher performing individuals.
Ms. Ririe began her career with several small, rapidly growing government contracting firms in the Northern Virginia area. She then moved on to two global FORTUNE 50 organizations, GE and Citibank, where she honed her skills in leadership and organizational development. Ms. Ririe concluded her corporate career at the premier global human resources consulting firm, Watson Wyatt Worldwide, where she led human resource development. Having lived and worked outside the United States, Ms. Ririe is adept at working with multicultural leaders and teams.
In 2003 Ms. Ririe co-founded The Wynhurst Group, a woman-owned leadership and organizational development consulting firm. Some of her clients include Discovery Communications, Inova Health Systems, MedImmune, Northrop Grumman Gulf Coast, Dept. of the Navy, Dept. of Transportation, US Citizenship and Immigration Services, VISTAtsi, Watson Wyatt, Grant Thornton, America Online, International Justice Mission, and National Association for the Education of Young Children.
As a leadership coach, Ms. Ririe blends her knowledge of business and human behavior with her coaching skills and own leadership experiences, into a consultative coaching style that includes asking the tough questions, challenging assumptions, providing honest feedback, and teaching new skills. Having once worked with an executive coach herself, she knows what it’s like to be on both sides of the table. She works regularly with C-Suite and senior-level executives to translate desired business outcomes into leadership skills and competencies.
Ms. Ririe earned a BS degree in Psychology from James Madison University and a MSA in Personnel Management from George Washington University. She is DISC qualified and is certified to administer a number of 360° assessment tools from the Center for Leadership Development, Lominger, and The Hay Group. She is President of WTPF—The Business Forum for HR Professionals and enjoys spending her free time traveling the globe.
